We Lost The Sea Share “A Beautiful Collapse” Live Video

We Lost The Sea

Continuing the two year anniversary celebration of their forth studio album Triumph & Disaster, Australian instrumental post-metal band We Lost The Sea have shared a live video for the song “A Beautiful Collapse” recorded at The Vanguard in Sydney.

The video was captured during a special launch show played in August, 2019.

We Lost The Sea says:

“Our fourth album Triumph & Disaster has just turned two. It was a tough record to write, produce and create art for. Second album syndrome, just about. Coming off the back of the completely unexpected success of Departure Songs we never thought we’d have to follow up something that people held so dear. It was a challenge to say the least. It sucked, really. In hindsight, if we hadn’t pushed through and got this out we would have been in lock down forever and it probably wouldn’t have seen the light of day. We haven’t even had the chance to tour this record properly. This, coupled with the theme of the album and what the world has been through in the last 24 months seems just insane.

We are extremely proud of this album. It marks a very poignant time in our lives. In honor of this record we’ll be celebrating it all month by sharing links, stories and other content online.”

Live filming and edit by James O’Connor From the Pit. Front of house audio engineering by Michael Taverner. Live audio recording and mix by Doug Walker.
