Tears of Dymphna is an eclectic collection of artists from across the DIY spectrum dedicated to raising awareness for suicide prevention. The digital benefit compilation features new or exclusive tracks by many bands, and all proceeds from the sale of this release will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, an organization dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide. The compilation was organized by Keith Ham, the man behind the Canadian-American metal, punk and rock review site, Direnotes. Keith lost his younger brother Joshua, who took his own life at the age of 16.
The compilation is free, but if you choose to make a purchase, all proceeds will go directly to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in memory of Joshua.
