Dom Zły – Dom Zły Review

Dom Zły

Translating from Polish to mean “bad house,” I just keep reading their name and thinking of British comedian Dom Jolly and his huge telephone. Only formed in Autumn 2016, Dom Zly have released a very strong EP on Unquiet Records in October 2017. I know nothing of the Polish hardcore scene for live circuits and networks, apart from the country exports some amazing death, crust and other forms of extreme metal, so I can only imagine it is rather healthy.

Release date: October 13, 2017
Label: Unquiet Records

With six tracks across 24 minutes, it gives the listener a very good impression of the band, one of which I would like to hear more of when they graduate to albums in the near future.

It’s melodic, its blackened, its crusty as well as having that ‘post’ feel about it, so I can imagine this appealing to a number of different camps. Your Neurosis fan, alongside your Hellbastard die hard next to your Unholy Majesty hardcore power crew.

But don’t take my word for it, well worth visiting this bad house.
